The ValuePump™ from Skaginn 3X is used to convey product gently through a closed, low-pressure pipe system. It is designed for pumping products in a liquid medium (e.g., water, fluid ice or additive solution). The product can be of any shape and size such as shrimp, pelagic fish, whole round fish, fillets, portions, roe, liver or heads and frames.

Slow revolutions rotate the internal pipes, which are filled with water and product, flushing the contents towards the outgoing pipe. This enables the system to deliver product to higher elevations without using a propeller. Instead, material is gently conveyed in a closed system without exposure to the outside environment.

Examples of existing applications include whole fish in aquaculture systems, coldwater shrimp in onshore processing systems, and liver and roe in onboard processing systems.

Highly Customizable

With diameters up to 16 inches and integration possibilities with a variety of ancillary units, the ValuePump™ system can be configured for a wide range of products and applications depending on material, value-added treatments, volume and conveyance height.

The range of value-added processes is wide when the system is paired with ancillary units like heat exchangers, Fluid Ice systems, brine mixers, etc.

Chilling

Paired with a heat exchanger and/or Fluid Ice system, the ValuePump™ serves as an efficient initial step in the SUB-CHILLING™ process.

Freezing

Add a Brine Mixing Station and the system rapidly brine-freezes product during conveyance.

Bleeding

The low pressure system in the ValuePump™ orients whole fish in a movement that replicates their movement in the wild, which gently and efficiently evacuates blood from the tissue, often supported with a FiltreX filtering system to minimize new resource uptake and waste disposal costs.

Sanitizing

With additives like aqueous ozone, the ValuePump™ provides safe and effective disinfection.
