Subzero temperatures are the ideal state for skinning fillets as it results in minimal yield loss.
The Skaginn 3X Sub-Zero Skinner is robust and highly advanced skinning machine specially designed to handle fillets after SUB-CHILLING™. The skinner uses unique technology to preserve the texture of fillets and minimize yield loss. It offers a high capacity, able tohandle up to 30 fillets per minute depending on fish length.
Fillets in a subzero state (-1°C) are much better suited to skinning than fillets prepared in the conventional method. The technology is especially useful for delicate fish such as haddock. Traditional skinning machines do not work well with fillets after SUB-CHILLING™, but the Skaginn 3X Sub-Zero Skinner is specially designed for skinning fillets after SUB-CHILLING™. The Skaginn 3X Sub-Zero Skinner and Super-Chiller™ are also compatable and often sold as a pair.
