The fish is graded automatically for size and shape.
The system can grade up to 40 tons per hour.
The sorting solutions can control the product flow by Vision system, resulting in higher efficiency.
After mechanical grading, the system automatically inspects each individual in terms of size, species and condition.
Skaginn 3X automatic sorting solutions for pelagic fish are based on an advanced and highly efficient technology for pelagic processing plants. The main benefits of the system are the fast and precise sorting ability, sorting up to 12 different size categories and inspecting each fish in terms of size, weight species and condition through automatic Vision-based quality control. The newest feature of the system is the addition of Vision units that control product flow from the grading machine and distribute the product traffic among different QC-Vision Batcher stations. The system is ideal for both onshore and onboard pelagic processing facilities.
The system is composed of a customizable range of cost-effective modules, from standalone machines up to complete systems. All systems include Style grading machines, which mechanically grade the fish based on size by drop conveyors. The Style grader can be adjusted automatically through an electronic tuning system in three different places on the grader. After grading, the fish is delivered to the QC-Vision Batching machine, which weighs the product into batches prior to machine-bagging.
